Hannah Kimberley Announces run or Gloucester Councilor at Large

Civic leader, teacher in the Salem Public Schools, and published author, Hannah Kimberley, has announced her candidacy for Councilor at Large.

“As a community leader and educator, I’ve spent years listening, organizing, and working side-by-side with folks in our community to tackle the issues that matter most,” said Kimberley. “Now, I’m ready to bring that experience and collaborative spirit to City Hall.”

Kimberley brings decades of experience in public service and community organizing. She currently serves as President of the League of Women Voters of Cape Ann, Vice Chair of the Gloucester Human Rights Commission, a core member of Housing 4 All Gloucester, and a co-founder of Women’s Equality Cape Ann (WECANN). Her lifelong dedication to fair treatment for all underscores her commitment to building a Gloucester where everyone is heard and represented.

Her campaign will focus on approachable government, housing affordability, environmental sustainability, and ensuring that all residents have a seat at the table.
