President, League of Women Voters of Cape Ann  2015-Present

  • Spearhead advocacy campaigns, public forums, voter engagement efforts, and moderate debates
  • Empower voters and strengthen democracy for all on Cape Ann, MA.

C0-president, Women’s Equality Cape Ann (WECANN)  2016-Present

  • Founding member of a Cape Ann intersectional feminist women’s group (with nearly 400 members) covering current events affecting local people, hosting public events, lobbying representatives, and remaining active participants in our democracy.

Appointed Chair/Vice Chair, City of Gloucester Human Rights Commission  2020-Present

  • Improve the life of city by enlisting individuals and community-based groups in educational programs and campaigns to increase mutual self-respect, harmonious intergroup relations 
  • Assist persons in the city who believe that their human or civil rights, as defined by existing local, commonwealth and federal law, have been violated in the City

Member, Housing 4 All Gloucester, 2023 – Present

  • Advocate for housing affordability and public education
  • Support the creation of housing that is affordable
